Upon entering the Dime, one is instantly swept into a contemporary oasis with seemingly every imaginable amenity. The fifth floor boasts an indoor/outdoor state-of-the-art fitness center, half basketball court, and an outdoor gaming terrace. Indoor and outdoor lounges will also be included on this level, offering a space for residents to unwind on comfortable sofas, get lost in a book on cozy reading chairs, or catch up on work at spacious tables. The sprawling outdoor terrace will feature comfortable seating throughout, a community garden, space for yoga, a cooking area with grills, multiple dining tables, and lush greenery set around a great lawn. Attentive doormen and concierge are available at all hours, on-site parking and bicycle storage is available for residents’ convenience. Located on the 22nd floor, The Havemeyer, a private penthouse speakeasy-esque lounge, features both indoor and outdoor lounge areas. It boasts a vintage-inspired bar, beautiful sculptures, elegant seating, and warm lighting, making it ideal for entertaining guests. This lounge will pay special homage to the street on which The Dime is built – Havemeyer Street – and the family the street was named after, Henry Osborne Havemeyer and his wife, Louisine Havemeyer. Henry and Louisine were among the earliest collectors to bring Impressionist Art to America and, following Louisine’s death in 1929, a large portion of their collection was given to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Several reproductions from this collection will be housed within The Dime’s speakeasy lounge.
